Relatively easy assembly, stable grip. Can be a bit tricky with the 'hidden' screws in the handles which require an Allen key but overall a good product.

I chose it based on the reviews and the look of the handles. They are more expensive but worth the extra cost. Very easy to install and the re-key system is amazing.

Unlike the inside handle and all handles in the through and security lock sets, the outside handle set screw is accessible through a hole where all other units have a screw. The set screw is internal. This change is not mentioned in the instructions nor is it shown in the pictures.

We ordered at the same time as the special security door. By the time our security door arrived for installation, our return period for Kwikset equipment had expired. Some of the fittings were used earlier due to wear and tear and paint on them. The key doesn't fit in the lock, so we can't recode it. Very disappointed in Raven.

Bought a Kwikset Lever as a replacement. It was easy to assemble, but the striker plate could not be used, a larger hole was needed, there was no room on the tree for it. I kept my old brass and painted it black to match the lever handle. I liked that this is an item with the same key. One key for all doors. I didn't like that this isn't a set, I had to purchase a Kwikset bolt with a key separately.

I don't use anything other than Kwikset locks in my house as they are inexpensive and I can recode them to accept my existing Kwikset key. The handle is really solid, fits the hand perfectly and works smoothly. Requires a key to open from the outside, with a twist lock on the inside. Comes with a right hand lever but can easily be flipped to accommodate left handed doors like in my case.
