I'm deducting a star because the "guest" button is a bit misleading. Yes, you can change the locks to use this key, but it doesn't work without intervention. (If you recode the lock to use a guest key, your normal key will not work). For anyone asking, you can recode the lock without the original key, but you'll have to take the whole thing apart and do it manually. It took me about 30 minutes to understand it. This is an amazing product and very easy to use. However, it should be stressed that this only works with Kwikset locks that have a small hole! When we bought a used house I initially thought I should buy new lock sets for the outside doors just to be safe. It was later revealed that the house had Kwikset Smart Locksets. So we just moved in and the house had about 3 different keys for different doors. I bought this set which had 4 keys with the same cut and 2 keys with different cuts. I redid all the doors with the cutout used in the 4 keys so now I only use that key to open all the doors. I'm not sure what those other two keys are for but I suppose if you have guests you can lock your door with the cut out used in the two keys so if they leave and forget their key to return, or worse, after losing the key.
