What a beast! Much stronger than KYB Excel. I ruined 2 new tires due to bad balance and shock absorbers that don't do their job. 2 new tires (again), monomax shocks and balance balls did the trick! No more trouble. It is again possible to drive at high speed without damaging the tires.

Great hits. They fit perfectly on my 2002 S10 Zr2. The truck has clocked up 182,000 miles and feels like new again. I can't believe what a difference. Nice, confident ride (but not rough) and no more nose diving when I hit the brakes. An added bonus is that they look very sharp out there, peeking out from behind the front tires.

The factory shock absorbers have been replaced with these KYBs, they are stiffer than the OEM shock absorbers, after 500 miles they loosen up a bit and adjust, the ride is stable , I haven't ridden on the road so I don't know how they stand up to this application. If you drive a lowered Volvo 240 you need rear shock absorbers! Although originally intended for Chevy trucks, they are the perfect length and travel for the rear of Volvo 240 series low-rise models. They control springs in the 200-275 lb/in range with no problem, unlike stock Volvo Shock absorbers designed for springs are half as much.
