Well thought out and I would buy again. Functional and safe.

Be prepared to resize with tin snips if needed. Until home builders come along and develop easily accessible dryer hookups, you'll always be cursing the dryer plumbing. I cut about 12 inches. of length. I used metal tape to seal the seams in the vent extension. It arrived well packaged. I am very satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend Lambro.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

good in concept but not in execution

Doesn't work. After hours of measuring, cutting, adjusting, measuring and cutting, I gave up. If you don't have the perfect setup for it, it's difficult to get it right. Very difficult to install in tight spaces. Which, if I think about it, should help fit the dryer into tight spaces. Even with two people, one holding the vent and the other pushing the dryer, it's nearly impossible to line it up perfectly. Then once it's inside you can't go back in there to tighten it with zip ties. If I hadn't

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • weak

When conventional ventilation just doesn't work!

I used this duct to install an ultra tight LG heavy duty dryer in my 13ft 5in x 5ft 6in laundry room. It is the only pre-engineered unit on the market that allows this installation. Although most wouldn't like my setup, I wanted a large capacity and high efficiency. Once installed, the gap behind the dryer is 5 1/2 inches and only 2 ft 6 inches in front where I put away dry clothes; I'm a tall guy 6 feet, 225 pounds. and the woman is a petite 5'4", 125 pounds, and we both agree that's the bareโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great product saves me buying another dryer

When I moved to a new house I bought a washer dryer kit on Craigslist without measuring the space as everything seemed very 'standard' . But when I turned on the dryer, she barely moved the swingarm of the outer door right next to her. The outer wall was on the right side of the dryer, but due to the placement of the cleats, the actual vent wasn't exactly at the back of the dryer, but slightly up front. This means that any ventilation solution I can come up with will require a very short 90โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Little repairability

A wonderful medicine. for vents

Townhouse The seller of our dryer sold us a unit that was too big for my size [the wall again to get to the dryer duct] and said "Well , you have 3 by 4 inches that the flexible duct should give you" and went. The sliding door hides the washer and dryer so the dryer had to be pushed back to close the doors. I needed another 1 1/2 or 2 inches. Having just experienced a dryer vent fire (cause of a new dryer!), I am unwilling to do anything less than optimal to vent this dryer. I called theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model
