A flip of the tab and the pliers change between internal and external applications. Adjustable stop on the pliers jaw allows you to turn clockwise to reduce jaw opening and counter-clockwise to increase jaw opening. Comfort grip made of low-temp, high-impact material providing extra durability. Includes 5 pairs of alloy steel, color-coded, interchangeable tips and hex key all stored in a handy pouch. Internal: 1/4" thru 1"/External: 1/8" thru 1".

These snap ring pliers work great! I've struggled for years to remove the "C "

These snap ring pliers work great! I've struggled for years to remove the "C", "E" and all the other rings. I don't know why I waited so long to buy these pliers. I had no problems with this tool.

Excellent tool, best in snap ring pliers

Excellent overall. Covers many applications in one small tool. I use one of these at work (heavy gear) and have the other at home. I believe Lang (the maker of this tool) is the maker of an identical branded channel lock product. So check the prices of both before you buy.

Very versatile and made in the USA!

I am so glad I found this tool! Most of the pliers I've seen are made in China. I wanted to find one that is made in the USA and that can work with very small snap rings. This one is perfect! It also comes with extra grommets to work with almost any locking ring.

Gets the job done with a (small) oddity

Bought for aircraft maintenance and holds up better than the tool provided by the company. He does what he has to do and has never let me down. My only minor complaint is that the toggling between (compress to split) and (compress to combine) is a little sloppy and feels like you broke it first. but you only have to press it a few times and it will level itself. highlighted.

It's not easy to switch between internal and external, you have to press the buttons between 8.

This product is garbage. It doesn't just switch between inside and out, you have to press the buttons 8-10 times to get it to hook and switch. The nib tends to bend and warp easily most of the time and the package of extra attachments was torn and most were missing when I received them. Buy Craftsman or another well-known brand.
