A terrible product, not worth your money absolutely!

In order to somehow prepare the blank for the paste, you need to go over it with sandpaper, but the surface is still uneven, you need to control it.

Pros
  • Alas, it turned out that it was not, but this is not the fault of the store, all questions to the manufacturer!
Cons
  • The skin is kind of slippery, it is not possible to apply the paste. And if applied, it is applied unevenly, which is badly reflected in the finish and all efforts in sharpening go down the drain.

Wouldn't buy anything else.

Not a big deal but I wouldn't buy it again. First, trying to use it in the same way as regular Lansky sharpeners is very time consuming and not very effective. If you make the mistake of pushing it toward the edge you're sharpening, it'll slice through skin with ease. I've found that sharpening the blade at a 25 degree angle and staying at that angle with the belt has little to no effect. If you use a guide and rod I've found going 30 degrees helps. But what really works is to simply remove the

Fast passage, simple operation, the corner is already there.

Apart from that I have 11 homemade lines, all but three are reversible rough/smooth with different leathers, blends and blend densities. However, I keep three of them with my Lansky system. Why? Because when I use Lansky, the angle stays constant. I can do a quick mirror with one or two passes with each strap (with a range of 6, 3, 1). They're nowhere near the best as long as the smooth side or tool leather is glued to Lansky's sharpener handles, but sharpening is really about maintaining…

Lansky disappointed me the first time!

First off, let me say that I'm a big fan of the Lansky sharpening system and I get great results with it. I decided to add some leather straps to my set to use with different polishing pastes. I was a little shocked at the price of a single Lansky leather strap (you can attach larger straps to boards 5x larger for the same price or less). I can deal with the price but when they arrived I opened them up, as is usual with Revain Prime, and found that they didn't come with a shaft that fits into a

People don't really understand what they are for

The best way to get really sharp blades is to use a progressive rock system with progressively harder shapes. But there comes a time when it's more efficient to create a surface that hardness than a hard rock. Hence the slings and various STRING COMPOSITIONS. Wicked Edge makes the most of them. to a ridiculous extent that you can't even use leather. more to hold the mixture, which is instead sprayed onto a fine brush designed for the purpose. In your typical Lansky system, you may or may not…
