I have a Ford 8N installed on my tractor. The key does not work. Difficult to turn clockwise. Does not rotate counterclockwise.

This was easy to install on my Massey Ferguson 165. I think it will last and seems very well made. Delivered quickly and much cheaper than in a tractor parts store.

I liked the switch for the price. The support nut had to be stronger, it broke when the outer nut was tightened enough to prevent the switch from rotating in the panel. Installed on a Ford Hot Rod 32 and everything works.

I have a Mahindra tractor that is not stored in it. When the switch failed, it was badly rusted. It was a universal switch that was also installed by the previous owner. I was going to buy an OEM switch but it's about $75 and it's not sealed either. It needs to be sealed, I live in Southeast Texas. So I bought this one and sealed it myself. A lot less money.

That's not very good quality when you turn the key. Looking at the construction, with the ports and the roughness of the pivoting mechanism, there's no guarantee it will last. If you want something really durable that works when you need it, you can pay the money and buy a higher quality ignition. It is also very bulky and difficult to place under the surface with a large long pole. It didn't work with the May app.
