Finish wears out for working GPS modules

I suppose if you get an unfinished version it will be fine but the black border on the one I received started wearing off within a week . Another feature of metal bracelets on watches with a heart rate sensor is that when it gets cold, your wrist shrinks a little and the watch loses connection and the heart rate sensor loses contact. With a rubber band you can just stretch it over the notch, with a metal band you have to adjust it with a needle and then when it gets hot again it becomes too…

Approximately OEM as far as you can get

Prefer metal straps over plastic straps for aesthetics and feel. I tried it, it's cheap. First of all, the color is identical to the matte dark grey/black on the Garmin Fenix 5X. The strap is large as I ended up removing 4 links to fit a medium sized wrist. The clasp is solid and works well, although not as smooth as on more expensive watches, but for this price point it's pretty standard. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that the quality was better than I expected.

Very nice addition to my Garmin fenix 6X

I read the bad reviews about the workmanship but still took a risk. And I'm very impressed. I don't give 5 stars for the quality, but for the fact that the price is higher than the price. The clasp has never come loose, easy to resize and the fit is great. I've been wearing mine for over a month now when building, off-road motorcycling, working on cars, etc. And the surface shows almost no signs of wear or scratches. Also, this strap will not cause skin rashes like the OEM Garmin strap. I…

Not Perfect - Working GPS Navigators

Okay, the workmanship is good, but not enthusiastic about the double locking. It doesn't lock at all unless the last latch is closed and screwed tight. There is nothing that cannot be repaired with pliers. But the mechanism is flimsy and cheap, not like stainless steel but not magnetic either. Maybe I'm just used to not needing an extra latch to close. looks like aluminum vs stainless IMO but I could be wrong. The anodizing is not complete as you can see that the internals of the link are not…

Good alternative to the expensive Garmin bracelet

Looks good. Very easy to resize with the tool provided (just insert the tool into the holes and the spring roll pins will pop out). The clasp is nice and secure. I was happy to see that the quick release portion of the strap was metal and securely attached as I want to make sure it is securely attached to this $700 watch! I've been debating between a real Garmin strap and this generic band, but reading the reviews it seems like the black finish on a Garmin strap could wear away revealing the…

The group isn't bad, but the quality is questionable.

The strap is easy to attach and perfect for the Garmin Fenix 5X. It's a very pretty color and any ties you might need can be easily removed. The problem is the range. I have attached photos where you can see that the plating between the links is not fully covered. What made me even check this out was that the cover text made me realize the cover was thin. If this was a $10 item I would have loved the quality, but it isn't. For the price, I would have expected better workmanship in terms of the…

Looks great, works well, even after two years!

This strap was purchased to replace the standard resin strap that came with the watch. I've had watches with polymer straps for many years, and after a few years they inevitably break. an expensive smartwatch on my wrist as I embark on my next adventure. This beautiful all-metal strap not only keeps the watch secure on my wrist, it also looks great and goes perfectly with the black metal detailing. It's also very affordable! nonetheless. If you push this thing through enough dirt, water, salt…
