It does serve it's purpose and keeping dogs from biting. Our German Shepard has been trying to assert dominance, and she's bigger than our other dogs, so we had to protect them from her teeth. I like how sturdy and durable the product is. The adjustability is really good. I think if the connectivity to the collar would be better if it either had a collar built into it, or if there were a couple more connect points instead of the solitary strap on the top.My dog figured out that by moving the top center strap he can peel it off over his ears. I purchased this to prevent my dog from biting other people and other dogs. it is well constructed and looks tough. it takes a bit to get it fitting well and from slipping off. I connected it to the collar. it stops my dog from barking, since my dog doesn't like it at all. it took my dog a long time to get accustomed to it.The reason for my low rating is that is doesn't prevent my dog from biting. it was able to bite another smaller dog and do damage even with the muzzle securely attached.

Well made and very adjustable so that our German Shepherd has enough space to breathe, pant, and probably drink if needed but not so much that he has been able to slip out, though he is smart enough to keep trying. Purchased for my 72 lbs border/pit mix. It took 3 of us to attempt putting it on her. Once on, she was able to get it off with her paws with little to no effort. The product is very stiff and looks very uncomfortable. Be careful about size because I think the large is too big for her boxy head.

Great fit! I got a L, my GSD is 90 lbs, his nose is 4.9-5 inches long, and about 13 inches round. The muzzle fits snug but can make it a little loose to make sure he has room to pant. My dog’s nose is long, L is very tight, but luckily there are straps that you can adjust and we make it work. Not for long time use, can’t eat/ drink with it, but good for "meet and greet” of new guests or for vet visits. Recommend!

I got this to stop this genius from biting other animals people. Since he recoverd from parvo he started acting out. Excessive barking fighting out of control so I got him fixed. Didn't help so I got shock collar and this beauty. Look at him. He is smart he figured out how to get out of the shock collar retuned it got a better one he even figured out how to get out of this one till I adjusted better. Now when we go out we have to auit up😳 the price you pay to have a fir baby monster.

I had bought this because we were in the middle of treating our shepherd with a severe yeast infection between his paws. Since he kept basically mutilating himself, we bought this so we could sleep at night and be able to leave him at home without worrying that he was making the situation worse. Downside? This works. Not for heavy protection work as it has many areas where the dog is exposed. But for stopping the dog from being mouthy it works well

Works perfect for my dog with anxiety. I no longer have to worry when we go on walks or if dogs come over for a visit. It’s breathable and lightweight but durable and works as described. Make sure you measure your dogs abut and adjust straps as needed.

The best for a medium to long snout. No matter how hard our cattle/ shepherd puppy tries to get it off he can’t- very secure , still can drink water and eat snacks from very comfortable for him. Great investment for training and being around other animals

This product is cheaply made. Looks good in the picture but not when you get it. Leather is very flimsy and thin. Way to many buckles to try and tighten up.

I measured before I purchased just like they said. My dog was neither the medium or large he was right in between. So I did go up a size. like you would when they don’t have your shoe size. and went with the large. I adjusted the straps. Fits great works great my dog can be a little temperamental at times with ppl he don’t know so we took this camping with us and he did great definitely served its purpose! This muzzle had much stronger leather straps that others though is moderate for leather quality. I haven’t found the perfect muzzle but this is in my top 3. My concern is that it may rub his nose over time, I’ll have to see. I change this out intermittently with a metal basket muzzle to prevent rubs. I think that’s key for any muzzle. Purchased for my 50# mix. His snout is similar length/width proportionally to a GSD, so this muzzle in medium fit his snout perfectly. We had to drill in a smaller hole for the strap that goes over the head, but we were able to do this with a nail, hammer, and screwdriver, so no extra cost to us and not terribly difficult. Even though I measured both, the sizing is very different(Boxer pit was smaller). They measure less than an inch different on both A and B. Both measured in accordance to buying the large. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this muzzle but it exceeded all expectations. My dog can remove any muzzle if I let him try and he did remove this one after about 30 min of wearing it. He allowed me to put it on without a fight and he wore it for about 25 minutes without trying to remove it. He seemed comfortable with it on. It has multiple places to adjust for a perfect fit.
