The muzzle is as advertised. It would be helpful if it came in a size smaller than medium. My dog is a mixed breed (shepherd/border collie/?). Although her measurements seem to match the Medium size, that size is a little large for her, requiring it to be adjusted as small as possible. No real issues. I ended up drilling a few more holes to make it tighter, even with the medium size. Used on dalmatian and smaller German Shepherd. Works great.

I ordered the medium for a 70-80 lb Newfoundland/heeler mix. Hes got a long and narrow face so it's hard for me to find muzzles that fit him. This product worked so much better than the one from the pet store! It fits comfortably and there is no more wear on my dogs nose!

We went with brown because Max has a mostly black GSD face and the brown stood out better. Max is a sweet and loving toddler but is somewhat intimidating to strangers. He loves wearing his "doggy face mask" and we know pedestrians feel safer when they see him coming down the street.

Just got this for vet appointments for one of our huskies as he gets a bit agitated and growls. I got the Medium and our husky is 45 lbs. I would say the Medium is almost too large on him as the muzzle part goes up to his eyes. I might play around with it a bit more to see if I can get it to fit better but he seemed fine wearing it. It's definitely better than the nylon ones. Seems very sturdy.

It seemed like it didn’t cause any discomfort but he kept taking it off. Tightening it doesn’t fix the problem. If a dog tries enough, they’re getting it off.

Each dog is different. The muzzle fits the snout perfectly, but no room in the basket for the mouth to open. A larger size would slip off, and smaller wouldn't fit. Complicated to put on (takes too long). Leather is nice. Outside is colored, inside is rough leather. It is softer, but will ruin quickly with water or saliva. It serves the purpose for an emergency.

It is a little bit difficult to figure out how to put it together once it’s on due to the leather in the straps a strong German shepherd with his strong pause could easily pop those rivets right from the leather
