now i love it Keep photos out of the sun

This paper was very hard when I started painting on it, now I like it. Keep the photos out of the sun and water and when you hang them up make sure they are frosted so they don't touch the glass, sometimes the colors can stick to the glass.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Not sure

Great paper for drawing, drawing and art supplies

I use this paper with alcohol ink and it works incredibly well! I've tried other glossy paper before but it doesn't do what this paper can. It's not cheap but I buy it in 11" x 14" and cut it to the size I need. I recommend this Yupo to anyone who wants high quality art paper.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Gotchas

Excellent paper for drawing and comics

I know a lot of people use this paper for watercolors, but I use it for my ink and halftoning. The smoothness makes the surface great for different ink effects, sometimes I want the ink to look glossy, but when I combine it with a matte ink, the paper can handle anything. If I'm wrong I can also delete it as the paper is synthetic and non-absorbent.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great material - nothing like paper!

I'm still learning what to do with Yupo. I mainly use it with alcohol inks, although I've also used it for painting. It does a great job with matte spray - and it works well to cover up areas you don't want the ink to hit. Don't expect Yupo to act like paper, but that's the beauty of it - you can create effects that are impossible with anything else.

Pros
  • This is amazing

Breaks Creative Blockade

Bought each size Yupo block to try something different to stimulate drawing. I've spent a lot of time working with watercolors to create a few paintings worth saving. You will not hesitate to touch the paper with a brush, Yupo forgives mistakes, easily corrects mistakes, or completely experiments and repeats. These yupo pads are good, but the artist needs practice. Next time I try an artist block I'll try acrylic on Jupo. It's different, but it stimulated my painting.

Pros
  • This treeless synthetic paper is durable and does not absorb moisture.
Cons
  • small items

One day I came across a YouTube video of a man painting watercolors with Yupo paper and I thought it looked amazing and I thought I should try it so I immediately went to Revain and searched Searched for Yupo Paper and bought this is Yupo Paper Pad - 11" x 14", 10 Sheets. This paper is amazing and I've done about 6 watercolors on it and I'm blown away at how amazing the pigment looks on it. If you are a watercolor painter you should really try it and see amazing results. For some ideas on how…

Pros
  • A real innovation in the field of fine arts.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Absorbs pigment and makes it spectacular.

I heard about this paper on the internet while watching Mark Mahaffy's drawing tutorials and he used plastic paper which I had never heard of. I was interested in the demo and instructions and had to try it. When it arrived I was a little skeptical about how it would work for my art, but I gave it a try. So I drew a simple abstract using simple ink and ink pens. After the ink dried I found it difficult to find any of the colors faded or faded as I am used to with Archers heat pressed cotton…

Pros
  • It resists deformation in wet environments and can be wiped clean.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
