Very happy with the Lezyne 1600XXL. This flashlight is lightweight and compact. The rubber band mount fits perfectly on the Raceface handlebar and does not move. The Lezyne app allows you to customize your light cycle settings instead of having to switch between all modes. I use enduro for climbing and full power for descending. On none of my trips has the battery died or faded. No complaints, will be buying more Lezyne products in the future as their quality is evident.

As far as I know this is a very reliable light source. It might be a little bulky for some, but it certainly makes a lot of money in a small package. The only caveat I would like to point out is that if you pair the light with the Lezyne LED Ally app, it will limit the lighting functions available to the end user from 9 to 4. On the other hand, using "Smart Connect” (for taillight pairing) or not, you may only want to have 4 more commonly used options than all 9, as it can take time to switch…

I've been using the older Super Drive 1500XXL for a few years. It had a good beam, but a few things about it bothered me. These things have mostly been fixed in the new model. First, the most annoying feature of the old flashlight was that the charging port was very deep inside and it was actually difficult to securely connect the charger. I am very happy with my new 1600XXL. I think the radiation behavior is generally good. You can see it in the attached photo. It's wide enough for good peripheral vision, but I feel like it could be a bit high. I would have preferred the light to be a little more directed towards the ground rather than being perfectly symmetrical which illuminates the trees a little more than necessary.
