Gaming required an ultra-wide monitor, as well as additional screen real estate, for example, to watch Twitch, read some forums, or watch YouTube videos sideways. Works perfectly! However, the HDR feature seems a bit strange. The colors don't seem right. Likes too much highs and feels a bit washed out. Although maybe it's just me. I bought it for work. This is an absolute turning point. The picture quality is just amazing. The LG OSD is great for getting the most out of the real widescreen experience. Text is very clear and images are very bright. I understand that a 75Hz refresh rate might not be enough for some gamers, but for video and office work it's just superb for the price. Good product. I bought this monitor to replace my 24" widescreen monitor, which recently started dying. So far, this monitor stands out with a very good pixel response time. The only downside is that the monitor is 6-bit + FRC so there is hardly any visible streaking in images with many different colors (if that's what you're really looking for) but for the price you can expect some cost savings.. The ultra-wide is a game changer and I hope it becomes more popular at some point.

The audio is terrible. My surface pro 6 has better sound than this monitor, whatever you do you won't get it because of the built in speakers. They won't save you money because you want to buy a separate pair of speakers asap. to me. This is so bad that it even prevents me from listening to conversation videos on YouTube. For the price this is a great monitor. Picture quality is excellent, as is the menu system (not always the case with these monitors). Works very well with the 2015 Macbook Pro it's connected to - easy setup and resolution that auto-adjusts to ultra-wide. Don't buy this monitor for HDR. It's capable but doesn't produce beautiful HDR content. This is my second LG 21:9 monitor. And it turns out to be a great value. Don't expect to be blown away by the image quality, but for a layperson it's more than acceptable. The software on my previous LG monitor was better too. For general content consumption and casual gaming, I highly recommend this product. Keep in mind that many games do not support 21:9 aspect ratio.

This monitor is large enough to open multiple screen options at once and easily switch from screen to screen.
