Don't be fooled by misleading pictures and descriptions. These are not LG filters. Came in the form of a filter packed in a plastic bag. Compared to my LG in the fridge and they are different. There are others that sell generic versions of the three for the same price. This is a very expensive universal filter.

This filter came in an envelope only. No box, no plastic bag. Nothing. Original genuine LG filters come in a box, the filters are shrink wrapped inside with instructions. This part looks generic and is not an OEM part. As far as I know you can use it. Attention buyers. If you are looking for a genuine LG part, this is not it.

The hard part about these filters is telling you if they work until they stop working! This is my first fridge with an air filter and while I can't see how it works, my nose knows it does. My previous fridges had a stale smell but not my LG with these filters. I was a skeptic but now I believe. The filters were well packaged, arrived quickly and fit well.
