The buckle strap broke on the first attempt to tighten it. Detached from the attachment point with minimal effort. It would break if my 4 year old granddaughter touched it. The canvas seems fine.

I store my paddleboard on a stand outside in the South Florida sun. I bought a cover to protect my board and mat from the sun. So far it's working fine. However, the lid said that it had not been exposed to UV light for an extended period of time.

Seems to be very durable. Some reviews say it doesn't fit their 10ft kayak. I have 10" and it fits. It's a little loose, but that's because it's designed to fit multiple sizes. It would be nice if the straps were tightened more to reduce the extra sag. We'll add a bungee or two. I don't think we will need it. I will buy it again in spring when we buy another kayak. Oh yes, and for the price. Nothing perfect!

Great material, stitching looks solid. The plastic fasteners make a very stable impression. As for the landing, well, not quite in the way we'd like. This is a decent kayak bag. I was hoping the strap on the lid would actually make it easier for me to carry the kayak, but the strap is completely useless. There is absolutely no reinforcement where it is stitched to the case and the material of the case is not very strong/rigid. So if you try to lift your kayak by the strap I have no doubt you will end up with a ripped case. And that's coming from someone with a very light kayak (35 pounds). Love the idea of this and the price. The reviews were also very good. I wanted to love this product but it just didn't work to keep my SUPs outdoors. I was hoping that the straps would be tight enough to fully close, but they had a limit on how tight they would close, exposing part of the board and creating a loose fit.
