The perfect garage welder. Get the job done!

Great welder for a beginner (like me) I was able to get some scrap metal and practice and have also done car repairs. If you're looking for something for the workshop, then this welder is for you. I recommend a different helmet as I needed both hands to weld, so I got one that automatically darkens once you start welding!

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Excellent welder for 110 minutes!

I'm not a welding expert, but I needed a tool that could help me remove some old, stubbornly broken exhaust manifold bolts from my truck. Dude I wasn't disappointed at all with the performance of this welder, I think you get more for what you pay for. The only thing that bothered me was that I had to buy a metal nozzle, it comes with a plastic nozzle, I just wanted a nicer nozzle for what I was doing.

Pros
  • Great build
Cons
  • Got it

Great for a small turbomachine!

I like this little machine. Easy to use and welds great. up a few projects down. It's just a flux core, but a brush is good for removing slag. I recommend a dedicated 20A circuit with a 12g extension no longer than 25 feet. This gives the car the most power. I have welded 1/8" steel plate right out of the box with no problems. If you are working with larger materials get a 220v gas MIG machine. This machine is ideal for light duty applications.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Frequency

Good quality at a good price

I have been welding for 28 years and have used the same welder the whole time. My old welder finally started giving me problems so I decided to buy this Lincoln it was a great decision. This is a cheaper welder but still good quality. The only complaint is that I prefer to adjust the power via a knob rather than low level 1, low level 2, high level 1, high level 2 switches. But I don't want to spend twice the money. for the Lincoln version in place of the handle. Still very impressed with this…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Difficult to say

First impressions. suitable for welding machines

So I just started unpacking and assembling. I bought a similar Lincoln welder a few years ago. Which made me very happy. The first thing I noticed was that the welding shield was quite cheap compared to my other one. When trying to assemble the glass, it was cropped to fit the screen. I ended up just throwing it in the trash. Message to all manufacturers. If you have to charge a few bucks more to make something of high quality, go for it. Like shit is shit. No matter how well the welder works…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Great tool for light materials and artists but not farm tools or 4x4s

Thing is handy and I think it's great for non-secure welding and fastening. I would not use it for farm implement hooks or trailer mounts. The reason is that it's pretty cold ethyl. I used it (of all things) to attach pendants and handles. A small charge, so that's fine with me. . . like, something like. Like everyone, I'm used to 240 volt heat and holes if I'm not careful. Here's a HOT TIP: Weld like you're trying to make a hole! I've found this to be the only way to get decent penetration - I

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Little repairability
