Great concrete cutter!

Great value compared to Home Depot or Lowe's. We bought one of these to sand flat on a custom concrete countertop for a 6" x 4" kitchen island and it worked great! This one was about 1/3 the price of the stores above and works just as well.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • No instructions

This thing grinds surface grinding wheels

If you're looking for a grinder to remove old concrete, paint or whatever from a surface, this thing is worth every penny. Perfect fit for my DeWalt drill, started sanding some floors and went to town. I was able to use it for 2 hours straight and the wheel still looked pristine. While this can create a mess, I will say that the slurry really speeds up the process and gets the job done better if you keep the surface wet. Much cheaper than anything you can buy at HD or Lowe's.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Functionality

Fast material removal, good for leveling edges

I used this to cut store bought granite countertops to size. I removed 1 to 4 inches of material, so I started with a cut-off wheel to remove most of it to get closer to the desired width. I then used this disc to align the edges and get closer to the final cut line. .This disc removes a lot of material quickly so I used it for this purpose only and used a cut-off wheel with diamond abrasive on the side of the disc for fine grinding. This cutter glides smoothly over material and does a good job

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Hard to tell

Also works well with wood

The terrace in front of the front door was made too high, so the storm door scratches it when opened. I tried different ways to sand the deck but hand brushing or even sanding with a sander didn't work. It didn't help that the deck was coated in a very strong epoxy. It took about an hour with this grinding wheel to scrape about two square feet of surface to a depth of 1/8-1/4. ". Surprisingly, the wood turned out to be almost as hard as the coating. At the same time as this disc, I ordered a…
