Decent quality, best in spares

Installed and chewed on my camper sled on the first run. Good quality, maybe a little soft as it rounded her teeth on the first try. The price is higher than auto parts in a car dealership.

Pros
  • Exact match of component
Cons
  • Some errors

Fits 2006 Forest River model

Although the housing of this mechanism requires disassembly, it is not difficult. There appear to be 15 and 18 tooth pop up gears. This 18 was the exact same as my broken 18 tooth cog. The entire process, from jacking up the drawer to readjusting it with a new gear, takes about two hours. Pretty clear. Gotta change gears. It's tight.

Pros
  • Easy do-it-yourself assembly
Cons
  • weak

Perfect fit for my 2011 Montana

This was a spare sprocket on my main rail that had a broken tooth, it fitted perfectly. Like other people, I lengthened the bolt about halfway and jacked it up to relieve the pressure on the gear and rollers. The job wasn't difficult except the tie rod bolts were rusty and broken which made the job a little more difficult. One thing to watch out for: When installing the new gear make sure the left and right sides of the slider are flush, a chipped tooth had my slider shifted almost an inch.

Pros
  • Replacement 18 tooth sprocket
Cons
