Great when you need it

If you are reading this review you are no doubt looking for a cheap O2 sensor connector. Chances are you are like me, someone looking to replace the oxygen sensor on your car and reading about the need for a wire clamp socket. Since I saved enough money by replacing the sensor, the tool purchase was justified in my opinion and made the work much easier/faster. This socket is well made and durable. When I bought it it was one of the cheapest I could get through Amazon Prime. I don't know if I…

Free socket, no response from seller

This socket is very poorly made. I nearly ripped off the old oxygen sensor I was trying to remove. I have purchased Lisle products in the past and they have been well made. You are no more. I have a 20 year old Lisle flywheel puller and it's great. This tool does not exist. The setting is slightly enlarged as if it wasn't heat treated properly. Poor quality control by the manufacturer. Don't waste your money on this crap. I emailed the dealer I bought it from (Auto Parts 123) and they never…

Very bad design but good quality.

If you think all O2 sensors are the same size, think again. The question is not in the hexagon head, but in the depth. The hex head fits perfectly, but this socket is tapered, much like some of the socket designed for spark plugs. I'm not sure why it should be designed that way. Unfortunately, due to the narrow passage, it does not fit my truck at all. You might want to check the shape of your O2 sensors before ordering this one, or it might just sit there collecting dust like mine. Update…

Meets all requirements perfectly

I've learned that like many DIY jobs, replacing oxygen sensors is harder than it looks. But with the right tools, it can be pretty painless. On my Toyota Camry I used an open-end wrench on the bottom sensor, but this socket was needed to access the top sensor under the hood. offers the option of using a 3/8 inch socket wrench or open end wrench, whichever is more convenient for you. It's perfect for the job. Substitute. You must remove the sensors to read the part numbers. I ordered my sensors…

Don't waste your money on this poor quality product

Don't waste your money on this outlet. I was expecting a replacement socket for the Lisle 12100 O2 sensor that I bought a few years ago. This outlet was well made, worked great, and was made in the USA. So I bought another Lisle 12100 socket. Makes sense right? Well the Lisle 12100 O2 sensor socket I just received is coming back for a refund. This point of sale looks like a design for a school shop, which was created visually and technically by an inexperienced person. The slot on the side is…
