It's damn good for the price, I honestly thought it wouldn't work halfway through and after much prayer stuck it in a stripped stud and pulled it out! I had to use an extension with my ratchet and it came out easily. But the problem was, he's damn good - he can't get out of the bolt! So I took him outside and knocked him out in the side with a freaking hammer and he finally came out. The photos were taken after I hit him with a hammer. What is that thing made of? Damned.

Super Extractors in Tool Sets

Fantastic extractors. They were originally called (I think) Super-out and came in a nice little plastic case. I ordered a second set for my service van so I wouldn't forget the original set I have in store. As a last resort, you can use any outlet, but I prefer these so I don't crack or break outlets. They're easier and cheaper to replace and stay organized. I haven't broken any of these yet, but I don't use them that often. However, when I do, they never let me down, unlike cheap extractors…

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Better than regular EZ Outs

I broke the stock EZ Out trying to remove a bolt. After some reading, people said that this type of tool rounds the drilled hole rather than breaking the hole. So. I thought I'd try. It worked! This will be the first thing I will refer to for any broken bolts in the future. I love that they come with a rubber holder. It keeps things compact, which is easy to see. As a note. I used them in combination with a Mayhew Pro 37316 1/2-inch Shake 'n Break Pneumatic Bolt Breaker. I also had to use…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Not automatic
