The tracer was very easy to use. All it needs is a slight stiffness. One tap to turn it on. Touch and hold to brighten the picture, touch and hold again to decrease the brightness. Press one to turn off. super easy. The drawing paper I use is quite thick and very easy to handle due to the darkening. No eye strain. I used it in a sketchbook. Because it's so thin, I can just pick it up and tuck it between the pages. I love how the tracing paper just stuck to the device so I didn't have to tape it

This is my first lightbox and I love it. The cable is long enough to plug into my USB power strip. No wall plug is supplied, so you will need a USB extension cable or your own plug. I bought this light because it was one of the cheapest on Amazon and got great reviews. I've only had it for a few weeks but I like it. It's very light. I paint with watercolor and using it drastically reduces the time to sketch. It's bright enough to see clearly on 140lb watercolor paper. And I'm sure it will work with thicker paper too.
