At first, I liked this product for its convenience. My most recent bag purchase was a 4 pack which I bought in June 2020 for $22. Buyout options start now (April 2021) at $79.99. Before the price increase I also felt like I was getting fewer "packs" per cartridge, around 4 puffs/pack before the cartridge was empty. Doing the math works out to about $5 a bag at today's prices. I love my filler genius but my last bag filler broke. Two of the 4 refills were unusable as the ends of the plastic bag were out of reach and when you start pulling them out you never reach the end and therefore lose the entire refill. My husband and I are very upset because these gas stations are not cheap at all and it's annoying to spend two for the same problem. The Litter Genie gets five stars but their refills get one star. Like everyone else, you can't find the end of the package roll. I've been buying generics here for a lot less money for a few years and EVERY one has a little sticker on the end of the roll to show you where to start. I like to use gin for filling. This makes cleaning the toilet pan less tedious. I raise kittens for my local SPCA and clean their boxes several times a day to encourage the kittens to use them. I saw a popular cat rescuer talk about it and decided to give it a try. My 2 cats can get smelly even if you keep their boxes clean. I damaged the first filling of the bag because the edge of the bag wasn't very visible and I ripped the whole thing out (oops). Your customer service is very responsive and I was satisfied. I've always enjoyed using them. The clawed cat (I didn't, that's how she came in - I would NEVER declaw a cat!) asks me to be on top of the litter box, practically waiting for her to come out of the litter box to scoop. I love my cats and don't like playing with their junk. The Trash Genie is an amazing system as it minimizes odors, spills and trips to the bin. However, and this is a BIG BUT, the poles are overpriced, they use plastic, etc. The biggest problem for me was that many of the poles are defective: they are folded in half and the starting end is hidden somewhere inside the pole . So you can try to use it as is - folded in half - but it's a waste of money and plastic, and the gin bucket doesn't close…
