I am happy with the performance of the product but I was expecting an older version as shown in the picture as that is what I was looking to order. Instead I got a newer version, which I didn't want.

Finally cats can pee in it after putting dirty litter in it. However, they don't seem to like pooping in it. For the first week they tried eating pellets.

I have 3 cats, I ordered trays individually to see how they react to the change. I already use pellets so the transition was easy in that regard. All. The cats loved it so I now have 3 boxes, 1 X Large and 2 Regular. These boxes are amazing. So easy to clean, less mess. I highly recommend this system, especially for the dust that is normally caused by stone pine pellets.

Sturdy liter box and I fill it with Tractor Supply pine pellets ($5.00) per 40# bag. I replaced the bottom tray with a $5 storage bin under the bed.
