Won't open at the lid

Cheap junk from China. All plastic, the key inserts and turns well, but won't open to remove the gas cap when it's on. Absolutely useless.

Easy to lock...but unlocks

I've spent the last 10 minutes at a gas station trying to unlock this thing. My tank is safe...even from me! I turn the key to open it, turn it and it just clicks. Annoying piece of shit! 😩

It is fragile and the locking mechanism is cheap

It is NOT heavy duty and IS very fragile, I dropped it once, picked it up, put it back as there is no way to check if it is broken. .. next time I'm going to sleep, all The locking mechanism broke from a fall and won't open. I had enough gas to get home and wreck it, but it could really piss me off when I got stuck or cost me extra money for a tow truck or a mechanic.

No problems with it yet

Goes well with my 01 RAM (petrol). The cap does not differ much from the original, the insert of the lock with the key is made of metal, and the rest, of course, is plastic. It is almost identical to the original. So far the keying seems to be working fine (time will tell) as some of them are poorly made and falling apart. I haven't had it long enough to judge its durability, but with gas prices rising and thefts on the rise, having this thing might help keep a loser from siphoning off my…
