Lockstraps 901 Helmet Lock Black Review

Only used a few times and last month when I tried to use it again it broke. It turned out that the lock was only locked with a rivet. and even the pin was badly pressed. Very disappointed with the quality of the product. I even contacted Lockstraps about my problem, they replied but when they found out I live abroad they never reply to my email again. Bad quality and bad customer service.

This works great for me. I have an alarm on my scooter. So if someone tries to pick part of the lock or move my jacket or helmet the alarm will sound every time (it's very loud) so for me this lock keeps someone from saying goodbye and grabbing my expensive coat. So everyone declared that this is a 5 star product. He does whatever he has to do. I actually have 1 with no straps just for my helmet and I love 1. Would recommend to anyone who is scared and wants to leave their gear on their scooter

After looking for different "clasp" mechanisms to secure our rootfop cargo basket I decided to try these straps based on other users comments. We attached our new luggage basket to the factory installed roof rack by placing two of these mounting straps on the opposite corner of the luggage basket and attaching it to the roof rack. I will write to the manufacturer about this, let's see if they replace it for free. This is the second time I've replaced this lock as the combination gets stuck in either the locked or unlocked position. The second time around I did the smart thing and bought two Lockstrap combination locks. Carabiner is HUGE and very heavy as other reviews wrote. The strap itself is good and its length is suitable for attaching a helmet to the tail. On my 02V Strom it is long enough to attach the helmet to the rails when the helmet is sitting directly on the stern (under my luggage net). There are smooth rivets on the strap which should minimize the risk of scratching the tail if you wear this attaché while riding, but they can still scratch the paintwork so I'll be careful about leaving it on…
