In the 15 years I've been playing golf, rangefinder technology hasn't changed much. Sure, new gimmicks come out from time to time, but a laser is a laser and that doesn't really change. Despite slowly changing technology, rangefinders have always been too expensive for the average golfer like me. I tried Caddyview v2, Suaoki PF3 and now ProScope 400x. This one seems to be the best of the group. Optics give the picture undistorted, sharp and bright. The eye relief is just enough for me to see the whole picture when the rubber boot is pressed against my glasses. Distance measurements are almost instantaneous.
