    After buying and returning two others I finally got one that not only worked well but far exceeded my expectations. This remote control is very flexible and can be customized according to your needs. For example, if you only want the TV to turn on for a specific activity, you can easily set that up.     I would avoid like the plague.

    In descending order of importance: 1. The software will never recognize the remote control, so I couldn't program it. Of course I could "learn” all the functions manually, but I didn’t buy this remote control for that. The software requires registration. Why do I need an account just to program the remote?     Great remote but cheap quality that doesn't hold up

    A little background - I own an old Logitech 650 remote and have upgraded to the current Logitech 665 over the last few years a fairly complex two room home theater system including Pioneer SC-07 and VSX-59TXi Elite receivers, Marantz HD-DAC1 headphone amplifiers, Pioneer, Samsung and Panasonic plasma TVs, Oppo Blu-ray players, Pioneer Elite CLD-99 LaserDisc players, DirecTV and even a Roku Flash Drive.     Better than I first thought.

    New things I've discovered - if you're like me you've got multiple devices hooked up to your AV receiver so the AVR is used as a switch to control them. I was trying to create new activities using the AVR, the TV, and the device I want to watch, and I wanted to use the TV to control the volume and tone.     This is the best programmable remote control I have ever used. It's easy to set up if you know how to use a computer. No need to enter codes for different devices. All you need to know is the manufacturer and model number of the audio/video device you intend to use.     Good idea, but that's where it ends.

    The idea of the remote control for multiple devices was great, especially with the promise of launching different actions with a single button. But. where everything ends. I don't even know where to start my babble. In any case, if your audio device (in my case it is a soundbar) is connected to the TV via an optical input, leave it immediately and look for another product.     Great remote control! Used to control Nvidia Shield (2017 model)

    Good solid remote control. The online setup was easy, but take your time. Gather the model numbers of all devices. In my case I have a Samsung TV, a Yamaha receiver, a cable box and an Nvidia Shield streaming box (2017 version). Finally, I can control the volume while using the shield, with volume up, down, and mute buttons.
