- An added bonus of the mouse's ergonomic design is how well it fits in the palm of a hand of average size. You want it to be this heavy because anything lighter would be too flimsy to wear for long. High-quality matte plastic for the case, and metal for the wheels, make for an attractive and functional package. The wheels' rotational resistance is just right; the top wheel turns smoothly and easily, the progressive scrolling mode encounters minimal magnetic resistance, and the accelerated scrolling mode moves the wheel quickly but without any noticeable slowdown. Manual and automatic mode switching are both supported, making this a very practical feature. The side wheel has a light degree of resistance when turned, making it ideal for precision scrolling. The responsiveness of the cursor is superb.
- My primary work programs, 3DS Max and Archicad, do not have enough available presets, and it is unclear how to map the side wheel to the necessary functions. The mouse's odd ergonomic form, which leans to the right, caused me to accidentally click its right button at first, but I eventually adjusted.
