The tough mouse loves it; Used 6 months and the clicker has problems

This mouse has a great laser that works on most surfaces and tracks quickly and accurately. The only mouse to track the same is the M505 (now discontinued). I really like this mouse, it has become my new favorite, both for everyday use and for work and leisure. The weight is comfortable in the hand. The ability to pair with two computers makes it ideal for multitasking. I used this device for maybe 8 hours every day (ie 1000 hours today). However, after so much (so little?) use, the…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Has been damaged

The M585 Bluetooth Mouse is the perfect size for comfortable all-day use with medium-sized hands. Although I use my fingertip grip on the mouse, I also find it comfortable to use the entire handgrip. For larger hands, this mouse might feel uncomfortably small, but it fits best. The top plate is made of smooth matte plastic, while the side plates are made of softer, tactile plastic. I was considering buying a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 (not 2S) - one of Logitech's premium mobile mice - but I chose…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons

I expected more from Logitec.

I have had several (4) Logitech BT mice at different times. ANY of them connected flawlessly to ANY computer I had (with BT). I tried using this mouse with my windows 10 laptop (which already had a Logitech BT mouse connected to it) via bluetooth, it would see the mouse and they would connect but. Windows doesn't work with it, and under Hardware Devices, Windows says it doesn't have a mouse driver. Even after SEVERAL attempts from Windows to update the driver. He could never find one. I've…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Negative present

I bought this mouse because I finally gave up on the more expensive Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Bluetooth mouse I bought earlier this year have. Overall this mouse was excellent with the exception of one issue: the rechargeable battery. A rechargeable battery sounds like a great idea, but is it? Not if it only lasts a month or a few weeks and then - without warning - dies and needs to be recharged. This means you have an extra "spare" mouse on hand when you need to get right back to work. It helps…

painful setup process

Using High Sierra 10.13. Specifically, the multi-device wanted to switch between laptop and iOS. I wasted 3 hours of my life plugging this into my laptop. Most Bluetooth devices are automatically recognized by my laptop and eventually connect with each other without any problems. But not this one. After a deep dive into the guts of Logitech's website, Google search, Revain, and YouTube reviews, here's my solution: 1. Find a merging receiver tucked in the same place as the battery. It is not…

Bluetooth or unified receiver connection possible

I was happy to be able to pair the Logitech Wireless M585 mouse with both my Mac Mini running Mojave and my Windows 10 PC. I followed the instructions to pair the mouse to both computers, which was easy. I've also connected computers to a Logitech keyboard that works with FLOW, a Logitech software that runs on multiple platforms. I found that while both devices (mouse and keyboard) worked with both computers when paired with a merging receiver, they didn't work. works very well with a PC…
