Lokar S 1034 Carburetor End Assembly Review

I was able to use my existing throttle cable on my S10 when I replaced the TBI with a carburetor with this item. Well done, the only thing I did extra was put some Loctite on the end of the cable as I put it on the knot to hold it in place.

Used for throttle body. Easy to adjust and the throttle feels way better than what Lokar recommends for my application. Throttle Body Ford 5.4L 2v BBK 75mm.

Needed to reconnect to the original AFB carb on my '66 GTO where the connection was a 1/4" ball stud. It worked like a charm. At some point in the story the cable was replaced and I was dreading it but found a 1/16" bike brake cable with preformed ends and routed it through the existing cable housing and you're done!

It was very difficult to find an adjustable throttle assembly that would securely and reliably connect the Lokar throttle cable to the FiTech throttle body. This is what you need when connecting Lokar throttle bodies and Lokar accelerator pedal to a FiTech EFI unit. Nice clean design, let's see how it holds up with my heavy foot. Thanks to this much-needed part, I'm no longer afraid to build my own throttle body.

I received this product and it looks like a quality product but that's where it ends. I bolted this to the arm, but before the nut was even tightened (not even with much force), the bolt snapped in half. I had the product less than 30 minutes before it broke. I'm waiting for news from Lokar about the block exchange. Until then I can only give this one star. UPDATE: I called Lokar and they sent me a new unit for free. This one works great.
