The railing was very helpful when climbing the stairs. I had open heart surgery and lost the ability to walk, but eventually made a partial recovery. The railing helped me a lot to learn how to go up and down stairs without help.

I bought this product in white but it came in beige ok I'll find out. I went to install it and when you straighten the screws the paint falls off in huge chunks. This is what happens when you dive instead of splashing. The finish is terrible so prepare to sand and paint it yourself.

The Lovshare railing was a perfect fit for my 93 year old mother and father. I installed it between her living room and the common room. There is one step that was difficult for her. The kit included the two screws I used and two concrete anchors. A wrench was also included, but the size of the wrench did not match the 1/2" clamp screws. Luckily I had it.

I like the handrail. It looks just like the picture, eliminating the need for a post to link. We, of course, went to the hardware and bought long screws to attach the handrail to the wall. This handrail is much more durable than it appears in the pictures. There is an odd distortion in the description that suggests it's aluminum. This is a very heavy steel slat, beautifully painted. The supplied wall plugs are of acceptable quality - half a masonry drill bit is enough to drill through a brick wall to install.
