I originally gave this item 5 stars because it looked OEM quality and I was very happy with the trays that came with my dehydrator. However, after less use, they started to crack. The cracks appear to have been caused by heat and moisture and the plastic has become brittle. I only hand washed them (they say you can wash them in the dishwasher but I don't have a dishwasher). Very disappointed.

In the summer I use a dehydrator weekly to save things from our garden. Although I've never made fruit rolls out of it, I regularly use it to dry things like tomato puree for making homemade tomato powder and eggs from our chickens to keep them dry. They're also good for dehydrating small pieces of fruit and vegetables so they don't fall through the layers of the skins. A bit difficult to use the dehydrator when the wave is bigger than the ocean. I thought maybe after loading (not fully) and in the dehydrator the heat and weight would even the stuff out, but all that happened was one big mess with everything spinning all the way down. I ordered these last month after my plum tree was ripe so I could make skin out of the pulp after boiling plums for jelly . Worked beautifully. There's no warping, as some have noted, and they clean up well. I lightly brushed each leaf with grapeseed oil (you can use any oil you like) and then made the skin with just 2 ingredients - fruit and honey. No sticking!
