150W for chickens

Fast delivery excellent product. I had hatched chicks and they got hot enough to run a 250w red bulb so I went with a 150w ceramic bulb and it works great. I use a 6'x3'x3' outdoor breeder in central Okla.

Pros
  • Can provide the amount of heat for reptiles, provide non-luminous heat source, long lifespan reaches 10,000 hours.
Cons
  • Working speed

A few months and it's going strong!

For the price I would have been good if it had burned out with daily use but I'm still on the 1st bulb with daily use. Temperature control is very consistent! Very happy, as is our red-eared slider!

Pros
  • Hard ceramic element, suitable for wet environments. Raised the temperature in the growth tray.
Cons
  • Quality

Blown out almost immediately

I don't know if I was just unlucky or what, but I wanted to test these bulbs out before my chicks hatched, so I screwed them in and let them sit. They warmed up very quickly and were very hot after a few minutes but a few hours later when I came back to check they were both cold and not warming up even after I switched the lamp off and on again. I tested the bulb with a regular bulb before buying it so I know it works.

Pros
  • Power supply: 75W / 100W / 150W. Voltage: 110-120V. Dimensions: approx. 85mm x 70mm / 3.35 x 2.76 inch.
Cons
  • Only available in black

Keeps our ducks warm

We tried these heaters a few years ago after freezing weather in January when ducks started laying eggs, our ducks were discarded too early due to excessive light from other heat lamps, and some of our lightbulbs blew up when ducks splashed water. to a hot light. These ceramic heat lamps can allow a small amount of water to get on them and still work well. Because they are made for an often wet reptile environment, they are ideal for ducks. The surface gets very hot, so you need to make sure…

Pros
  • Includes: 2 ceramic infrared heaters.
Cons
  • Empty
