Lykke Driftwood Double Pointed Needles Review

I bought 2.25 Lykke dpns from Hot Yarn. The needles were defective as the pack contained multiple sizes rather than a set of one size. I haven't used them in 14 days so Hot Yarn stopped supporting their product. I will never order from Hat Yarn and will caution my ribbons from the retailer.

I bought a 2.5 (3mm) Driftwood DPN and they are great. The black insert is perfectly smooth (don't know how they do that) and the overall feel isn't too slippery. (I'm a freelance knitter so I don't like stocking needles because I lose stitches.) The grayish patina is so, so beautiful. This was a great purchase and it arrived SUPER fast, like two days!

I love the feel of these needles - of all Lykke Driftwood needles. The finish is perfect, they are smooth and have the perfect weight in my hand. I used to think ChiaoGoo needles were the best and I really liked them but they have manufacturing issues and some of the tips are serrated and the tip is beveled. I tried Lykke and now only use them, both their DPNs and their spare needle sets.
