Reliable product at this price

As others have said it's not a perfect product but decent for such a cheap product there is - Has a screw head for 2 different sizes - I need a smaller one so I have Removed the Top Screw Cons: - As previously mentioned, the 3 rubber feet can cause the product to tip over. I recommend removing them (I pryed them out with a screwdriver, maybe there's an easier way) - It has also been mentioned by others that there was some kind of black greasy coating on the base. You can wash it before assembly

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Empty

Good but could be a lot better with 50 cent improvements

This mic stand works reasonably well. It's strong enough and the right height. A little more weight on the baseplate would be nice. And why-oh-what, manufacturer, do you make 6 cutouts on the bottom plate and put rubber feet on only THREE of them? This leaves three directions in which the device can wobble (and tip over). If it had 6 rubber feet this problem could have been avoided altogether. I'll gladly pay a dollar more. All in all, this mic stand works well enough that I'll be DIYing itโ€ฆ

  • Sleek design

  • Seller communication

Decent product but not great.

In general, the stand is not bad, but the quality is not five stars. The first thing that struck me was how difficult it was to screw the stem into the base. This required a lot of effort clockwise and counterclockwise. Also at the base there are three rubber pads as supports. That's okay, but not great as it can wobble a bit when touched. My main complaint was that the inner extension shaft could rattle against the inside of the outer extension shaft. This could be solved by using a plasticโ€ฆ

I like it for accessories

I used it for a podcast. I had one that snapped at the end and looked like a disc jockey. But I'm sick of it, so I just want something that was literally right in front of my face on a stand. Well, I like it, but it doesn't feel like there's enough weight underneath to hold a good, sturdy condenser mic. You have to move a lot to keep him upright. Or did it somehow flip. But overall the build quality is very good. And when it stays still, it's pretty excellent. And it does the work I need to do.

  • Complete set

  • Some little things

Preparation for durable

These racks are very durable. Some cast metal. Difficult. The base is heavy and durable. But when setting up, be prepared that they will be installed forever. Part of the reason I got them is that the stand and base have been disassembled for more compact storage. I use them for location shoots and go to different locations every weekend. After a single use, one of the microphones had a screw left on the stand. That means I either had to pry it out with pliers or just walk around. After 3 uses,

Great stand for a great price.

I've searched the market for microphone stands that don't cost too much but are weighed down enough that I can carry a decent microphone with a shock absorber. Luckily I found this stand which is heavy enough to support the mic but not too heavy to move around the table if needed. The fact that it can also be raised is a nice plus if you have a low seating table. For those wondering about the size, the height ranges from 9 to 14 inches with an adjustable height lock. The base is about 6 inchesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
