One of the most versatile accessories I've ever bought.

One of the most versatile accessories I have ever bought. It doesn't do anything that can't be done with a bunch of homemade gadgets, but it's much faster, more versatile, and more precisely tuned. Comes with almost everything you need except a fence which I think should be included but isn't. A great tool at a fairly high price, but worth it if you do a lot of hand milling.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

It does its job best in power tools and hand tools

I really wish I could give it five stars but. First, my mount was assembled incorrectly, I had to disassemble the mount to "flip" the plastic platform. so the holes match and the accessory goes through. Second, once a router is installed, "fine" adjustment is extremely difficult, making fine-tuning impossible. which takes away a lot from this product. I use a small Dewalt router over it. So I said the bracket setting is good enough that you don't need fine tuning. high-quality materials, very…

Great product in the Lighting Accessories

I got this before the router came so I haven't messed with it for almost a month. I spent quite a bit of time starting to set it up, but once I got the hang of it I carved accurate dados that worked perfectly on the first try. I would suggest buying an edge guide with it and getting a digital height/depth gauge or setting blocks to set the height/depth of the router. Also when you buy a Dewalt (dw628) router it doesn't seem to come with the necessary thumbscrews although everything fits…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • poorly thought out

Top quality jig accessories

If you use a router often this is a great addition. Unfortunately it didn't work for my purposes. I wanted to cut a wide (2.5″) tongue at the end of the log. There is no way to reconfigure the base that would allow me to do this (it's difficult). Believe me. After spending the premium price on this basis, I tried all possibilities. I ended up having to cut a 2" wide groove, leaving a 0.5" wide section along the edge of the log. I ended up using a hand plane. As I said, it's difficult. It was…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

This tool is not bad but for the price it is not worth it. M.Power seems to rule out some of the more useful attachments, knowing you'll likely buy them to get the most out of this device. Some things I don't like are that the plastic base is too flimsy and can introduce some flex when working with a narrow workpiece. The self-centering pins are not height adjustable, making it difficult to work with thin and narrow workpieces unless you have a better equipped workshop. The easy-to-grip ball…

Great idea, good execution, but could be better.

Great concept, good execution but could be better. It really can be a fantastic tool. I even considered mounting the CRB7 on linear bearings with guide rods perpendicular to the liner guides. Build something like a manual CNC milling machine. He felt strong. Seems to be very versatile. This piece is probably perfect for the casual crafter or weekend warrior. However, I wasn't sure if that would work for my purposes. Works with all 3 of my routers. And they are from two different manufacturers…

I really wanted this device

I bought this base with a mortise hinge lock guide. I was hoping to make grooves for tenon joinery. Management is really disappointing. The first problem is that the base mount is cumbersome to set up. Possible but difficult. It takes a lot of guesswork to properly connect it to your router. A large router base can be useful in some cases, but adding a large router base can be easily done with 1/4 inch thick scraps of plywood. Do not cut the groove at the end of the board (where grooves are…
