Magic Sliders 4124 16X4 Slider Review

Magic sliders are awesome! They do what they say. Now I can easily move this heavy oak desk and transform my home office anytime. The sticky side keeps it in place. Works great on carpets and I've used them on hard floors. Great price for Revain!

I use mine on a large solid maple dining table. The table is quite heavy and our floor is made of wood. We needed to be able to move the table fairly easily without damaging the floor. They were easy to install and worked exactly as I had hoped. Although the table is quite heavy, it now slides relatively easily. We are very satisfied with this product and recommend it without hesitation.

Each box says it can hold over 3,000 pounds. I ordered two of these sets and placed them under a cabinet on a table that weighs about 200 pounds. My desk didn't budge - being able to maneuver it on the carpet made absolutely no difference. I have a plush rug and I think they might collapse under a lot of weight. Those are pretty thin sliders. Maybe they would work better on a very flat carpet, but they definitely didn't work on my desk.

We have some old patio chairs that are awkward and difficult to move across our decking. We always had to lift them to move them and they are difficult to lift. They are spring chairs so the main body is long front to back and they are metal. I saw these magic sliders online and was wondering if they would go with this type of chair. And they did! They are very useful when the bottom of the furniture you are attaching them to is rectangular. I used two of these for the underside of the queen headboard that attaches to the queen bed frame with wheels. Nearly perfect in width and length, the rectangular sliders make it easy to roll the bed back and forth and left to right across the carpet to clean and reach areas under or behind the bed such as power outlets etc. I used the other two (four included) along with two leftovers from a…
