Great product. Please note that the 90 degree brackets and spacers shown in the second photo are not included with this product. Magswitch Technology Inc support was fantastic in getting me these parts for my custom fence. This issue relates to the Revain product photo, not Magswitch. The product itself is perfect for my particular fence.

WHY, YOU KNOW WHAT, that doesn't have magnets? ARE YOU SERIOUS? It's bad enough that you have to assemble everything, but then you go to assembling your base (which is called a damn MAGswitch) and you get a little magnet that isn't included. Well it's a joke. This thing is just a piece of POS plastic. $20 for a piece of plastic, that's it. Generic means it will not work with any of the accessories. Get out.

THIS WORKS WITH MAGNETS (TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY) AND ALSO IS NOT IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. ALSO IF AND IF YOU GET ALL THE MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB, YOU WILL SPEND A LOT OF MONEY. I have purchased several Magswitch products with great satisfaction😊😊 This time I purchased the base and magnets separately from Revain and Rockler for a project . Couldn't figure out why a reviewer had trouble aligning the magnet holes until I tried inserting the screws. The socket anchor bolts are 8/32 and the 9/1000 holes are too small and had to be reamed to fit the bolts provided. I can't believe such an expensive magnet system that I really like could have a better bore for threading. I

I bought a Magswitch Universal Base to use with my Magswitch 150s which are said to be designed to work together. Of course, it doesn't work if the magnet holders aren't fixed. The base is supplied with screws. As is common these days, I have no idea if they're metric or imperial, so I fish out my allen wrenches. The threaded holes in the base are metal inserts, so you must use the screws that come with this unit. This is normal except they will not go through the holes in the magnet blocks…
