Plan for this when changing your oil, removing the skid plate, removing the oil filter, unbolting the oil cooler with a 22mm deep drill hole socket to access the gasket. I had a faulty oil pressure relief valve behind the oil cooler which was a headache for the project, but mostly replacing that gasket isn't the point.

Had to replace the oil cooler o-ring on my 2003 Infiniti G35. Ordered this o-ring and installed it and found the leak had returned two days later. I ordered a different o-ring from my local parts store and it was a smaller diameter than the Mahle o-ring. In fact, the parts stock o-ring fits perfectly into the Mahle o-ring.
