Great filter and fits '15 Versys 650

FYI this filter is ABSOLUTELY suitable for 2015 Kawasaki Versys 650. The description says otherwise. I drive 5-6,000 miles a year - I use the same filter every time I change the oil. Intervals 1500-1700 miles.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Non automatic

Good filters in Oil Filters & Accessories

A good company I trust and Nissan is also a company that makes their own filters although I prefer Nissan branded filters from Japan. Use them when they are out of stock. My car is a 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 liter but it works on all 2013-2018 Altimas.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was

Working filter

I bought it for my Triumph Speedmaster. They used to use a Purolator PL14612 but since last year they changed the design of the perforated plate from concave to convex which interfered and prevented the filter from sealing. In any case, Mahle is probably the best filter, which is why I'm using it now.

Pros
  • Various competitors
Cons
  • Requires base

Quality filter at a great price

Mahle OC 575 FITS ALL Triumph Tiger, Sprint ST and most other modern Triumphs (despite Revain saying) - fits as well as Hi Flo HF204 and K&N KN-204-1. Leads in performance tests. If you buy 4 or more other places like New Egg have lower prices because you pay shipping.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

The best you can buy for your Polaris!

I did a lot of research looking for the best oil filters for my Polaris and Rangers ATVs. Let me save you hours of time. Male is the best. Build quality, construction and fit. I even compared them to the "Polaris" factory filters. These are better made! They fit all of my 2005, 2007 Sportsman 500 HO and 07' EFI, 2005 Polaris Trail Boss, 2004 Polaris Ranger 500 and 2015 Polaris 900 XP!

Disappointing! Not the man I know.

Disappointing. I ordered 3 filters. One filter arrived crumpled (the box and packaging are undamaged, meaning they are from production). On the other two filters, the glue holding the pleats together showed metallic inclusions; One of the two had dripped glue all over the inside, not just where the glue should be on the metal end caps to attach the filter pleats. I have used Mahle filters many times and have never seen such quality issues before. These are the only low quality Mahle filters I…

Pros
  • Build Quality
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Brand reputation and (now less) Great value for money

Purchased for use in a modern Triumph Bonneville vehicle. Mahle is a renowned filter manufacturer and this product lives up to that reputation. How to understand that the oil filter is working well? It's hard to tell until you prematurely disassemble the engine or have a filter problem. I would just go with a reputation and leave those other things to other people. You can search the webernet for oil filter analysis and lose at least four hours of your life or just use products repackaged by…
