Crumbly pulp is good for birds

I received the 'cake' in a mess. Everything was crumbled and I couldn't even try to put it in the tallow feeding as planned. They ate it, so I'm guessing it was tasty, but it was too expensive to use just for food. If I wanted to feed from scratch I would pay that much money to buy a whole bag. Will not buy from Revain again.

A crumbling mess is best at Birds

What a crumbling mess! Of course my chickens can eat the crumbs that come off the cake. But you pay extra to get a snack in the form of a cake! So you might as well buy chicken drumsticks and mealworms. I ended up buying a 3 pack and about half came out intact. The rest went to the feed. It's a shame to overpay and not be able to use it for its intended purpose.

Pros
  • Pack of 3 Individual 6.5 oz Brownies
Cons
  • Almost Everything is Fine

It even stops cackling excitedly mid-peck. That's great fun for us. I don't give him too much as in the past he has burdened the crops by overeating on indigestible things like tall grass, hay etc. It's just a good snack for him and the…

Pros
  • Ideal for flocks with limited access to insects
Cons
  • Easily torn
