Silkie babies are healthy and gain weight quickly

I use two Silkie babies. They were on Nutrena from a breeder but I switched to them about a week ago as I didn't want to buy Β£50. I chose the Mana Pro brand because I've been using some of their products for a long time. The babies have gained about 30g each in the last week and seem to be enjoying it very much. At this age I grind the crumbs into a powder before giving them.

Pros
  • USDA Certified Organic & Non-GMO
Cons
  • Gotchas

Excellent starter feed for chickens. Ridiculous price.

This is the feed I started raising my 10 chickens on. They liked it and it served them well as they grew into great, healthy chickens. I've been ordering these tiny packets from Revain over and over for my chicks for the first 11 weeks or so. But the price of this meal is insanely expensive. I'm not sure why. Large bags are available through Walmart and also cost an arm and a leg. Maybe it's time Manna Pro reconsidered their absurd prices on this food.

Pros
  • 19% protein
Cons
  • Not bad

Good quality for chicks Basic start

Chicks love it. It seems that they did not find it difficult to eat these pieces, even if they had to. They peck big crumbs to make them smaller, crumbs break easily. Chick droppings look healthy. The chicks are well developed, well feathered, there is no lack of structure. They love it, it's expensive, but I wanted them to have organic food like we want organic eggs and for the chicks to have a good, basic start in life. Also goes well with crushed fruit as a treat! Would buy it again for the…

Pros
  • No medication
Cons
  • Some troubles
