When I tried this automotive starter, I was let down by its lackluster performance. While the product is coated for marine use, I expected better durability and functionality. However, it struggled to start my car and ultimately failed to meet my expectations.

The starter has been used a few times and now works great with my 2004 5.0 mpi. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the spacers and if I had to use them I went without them.

First class finish, solid construction, no surprises. Turns my 350 Mercruiser skis faster than a regular starter. We'll see how the starter holds up, but this one is better than the professionally rebuilt one it replaces.
