Marineland is what you need!

I've been a Marineland fan for as long as I can remember. Why? Because you get what you paid for: quality and uncomplicated customer service. I used to have an Emperor 400. While this is a great cooktop filter I think it's time for a canister filter given my tank which is 31.5 inches. This Marineland C-530 canister filter is second to none because they engineered a superior canister filter. Setup is easy as the instructions are laid out at the same time. As with any new or new filter for your…

So far, so good. at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I award 4 stars. If it were a little quieter and came with a tube of silicone grease it would be a solid five. So far I like it but I only have it for one day. There have been reports of a leak, but I'm fine. I will update if and when that changes. I have a 90 gallon standard and it seems like a lot more filter than needed, but again, that's what I was aiming for. I have read several 1 star reviews and have to believe that the writers received defective equipment or were not paying attention to

Phenomenal!: Aquarium Pumps and Filters

My Use: I have a 75 gallon turtle tank that currently has an 8 inch RES. I upgraded the Marineland Magnum 350. Cleaning the filter takes about half the time and I do it about every 3 weeks instead of once a week with my old filter. The filter foam doesn't need to be changed nearly as often as advertised, I change them every 3 months or so. I change the polishing pads every time I clean and they're a bit pricey, but still less than what I spent constantly changing the filter bags on my Magnum…

They work perfectly, no problems

This review does not reflect Marineland in any way. I have been involved with Marineland for quite some time and have great respect for them and their products. I currently have 2 of their C 360 canister filters running on a 60 gallon cichlid tank also made by Marineland. They run fine, no problems. I bought this canister filter because I wanted to upgrade to a larger filter as I have plans for a bigger tank. The external filter arrived today (October 7th, 2015) and I was (at first) very…

I'll tell you something other reviewers don't have.

When I bought the filters I knew I needed a high performance canister filter for my new 90 gallon tank. I had some luck (well, literally and figuratively, it sucked) with another brand that was said to be good for 50-100 gallons. So I decided to go bigger and took this one. I noticed that several reviewers said they broke the clips. So when I first went to clean and the clips wouldn't open them, I didn't push them too hard. I got smarter and thought let's try a screwdriver. and yes, you MUST…
