Spiky but beautiful yarn

The colors are beautiful, but the yarn is too scratchy for a child. I make hats for hospitals, and they'll never let that coarse yarn be on a child's head.

Beautiful gradual changes and colors; but not as soft as I was hoping

Love the variety of colors and bought this especially for the baby afghan pattern using this yarn. I like a more gradual color change and it seems difficult to find a yarn that does this. However, I honestly didn't find this yarn to be very soft or comfortable, which is important to me when making and gifting a baby blanket. Eventually I started weaving a blanket and worked on it for a while but because I didn't like the feel of this yarn this project was left unfinished. I really wish it wasโ€ฆ
