Bought this knife to replace an old carving set. Used it for the main edge. The knife cuts easily and accurately. Great replacement.

The packaging is a bit overpriced. A box with a magnetic closure that went straight to the bin. Simply wasteful. knife as expected. I will update it over time as we use it. It replaces the double blade in our 20 year old Fiberware set. The old blade broke off with a broken tip. It is difficult to sharpen because the metal on the shank of the old fiber is thick.

Our first straight-edged (non-serrated) cutlery for steaks and other meats. They are very sharp and we cut meat with less pressure and hand movement.
