Nice with one exception.

Use thread lock on these large screws for extra protection. Pretty nice design, welding and materials used here. I also like the reflective marker bands on the device. There are two things I highly recommend to really make this device shine. First, I'd like to see some sort of "D-ring" that would help secure the cargo with ropes. There is currently no logical way to attach weights to a piece of equipment. Second, in the interest of future buyers, PLEASE add at least a quarter inch to theโ€ฆ

Works as advertised.

I really like this hitch. I bought a short bed from Tacoma in 2018 and needed something to help me transport firewood. I placed 4 sheets of pressure treated plywood, (16) pressure treated 2x6x8 boards, and (2) pressure treated 2x6x16 boards on this rack. The 8 foot boards didn't reach the extension, but the plywood and 16 foot foot boards supported them. I put the plywood in front of the wheel wells in the bed to keep it from shifting and put some of it on the brace. I secured the whole thingโ€ฆ

I had a defect and got no help from the manufacturer.

Overall this is a good device that should last for many years. Unfortunately mine was defective. Both L-Brackets could easily slide into one side of the T-Frame, but neither could slide into the other side of the T-Frame without quickly clamping and then were difficult to remove. Apparently there was an obstruction inside that looked like a bad weld, or at least wasn't polished (like the other side). The company put a bright yellow card in the box to show how important customer feedback is toโ€ฆ

This is the best thing since sliced โ€‹โ€‹bread

Am building a large shed and I didn't want to buy or rent or borrow a trailer as I don't have space in my driveway to store it so I found this in- Bed extension at Revain. I compared it to Harbor Freight and liked it much better because of the sides of the "gate" post. I figured these sides would hold the wood in place and prevent it from slipping off in transit. With the ubiquitous 20% off Harbor Freight Coupon, I could have saved about $12 on the Harbor Freight model, but otherwise they wereโ€ฆ
