Great tire - tires and tubes

Used this tire as a replacement for the race king and am very happy with the choice. Lots of off-road bite, just what my recent tires have been missing. I used to slip trying to ride some of the local trails but not anymore. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Useless features

Great tire: tire

The reason for the bad rating was that it was misshapen. I worked on it for an hour or two, thinking it was how it was broadcast, but found it wasn't done right. I bought another one and it was perfect. I would definitely buy again. Mistakes happen!

Pros
  • best in its niche
Cons
  • boring packaging

Black Maxxis Minion Rear II KV Exo 26 x 2.30 Tubeless Ready

First set of Maxxis tires. Impressive so far and offers excellent traction. Good luck with your tire selection because there are so many options. I'm limited in size so I'm glad they fill the bill. I will buy them again if needed.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Excellent tubeless tires

I used Maxxis DHR triple compound rear but tried double compound. So far I'm very happy. The triple compound was great and lasted a long time, but I thought I could put more miles on the double compound. I installed DHF in the front. This is a great combo for rocky trails in Colorado.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • No

Exceeds expectations

I expected this tire to make a difference. My expectations were high. This tire is far superior to all that. A few times when I KNEW I was driving into the bushes, I could feel the tire holding up. They seem kind of soft (in a good way) and very hard at the same time. My driving skills and confidence have skyrocketed. It was hard for me to spend that much money but it was worth it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Out of style

relegation ability. Difficult fight.

5 stars because if you want to feel like you're walking downhill, this tire is probably for you. It's really hard for me to explain a tire's performance without being direct and to the point. In my experience this is a great downhill tire but more or less average in climbing ability. Breathtaking with 3K compound. The only thing I haven't checked is the tire pressure. I've always run them at 18-20psi and never bled air. I'd really like to pressurize my tires to see how it drives even though…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Has quirks
