Power tools and hand tools in good hands

I use these stainless steel wire bender pliers. Good for bending and straightening, they hold the material tight and are well made.

Cons
  • Volume

Neat tool! suitable for hand tools

The jaws stay parallel and have a good grip. Stay straight under pressure. Has worked well in every situation I've used it!

Cons

Excellent set has everything I need

Excellent kit, does everything I need. The jaws do not close parallel and are very tight in the hand, which makes constant work difficult.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Repair

Sturdy tool, now I have two of them!

These are really great pliers, I just missed a second one. Parallel grips are very handy for working with small parts when you don't want to damage the surface with uneven grips.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing

Well made, the spring force can be adjusted.

Well made pliers. The springs are VERY strong. To accommodate my smaller grip, I loosened one of the springs in the grip. It is now much easier to compress and the remaining spring on the other side retracts adequately.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Safety

You get what you pay for

I am extremely dissatisfied with how good these things have turned out. The springs are held in place by a small metal tab that wears out quickly. Pliers squeak when you use them. The surfaces of the jaws are not square.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Almost parallel. suitable for hand tools

I have not used them yet but they are not perfectly parallel, ie not parallel. This may be sufficient depending on your needs. However, for some decorations, these tolerances are unacceptable. I'll update if anything changes, but they should be perfectly flush when closed if they're truly parallel.

Pros
  • pliers
Cons
  • some small things

Terrible needle nose pliers

Jaws are a few degrees out of parallel. In the open position, the handles are too inclined to be held comfortably. When you try to close the pliers you feel a lot of resistance and a gritty feel, and at the open end of the process the sponges get in the way of the handles causing them to stick. It looks like it was oiled after assembly but the excess has not been removed. The "texture" of the handle does next to nothing, although at least it's not sharp.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Expensive

Great Leather Tool

Firm feel, good grip and smooth jaws won't sharpen needles. I bought these pliers on the recommendation of a friend. When sewing multiple layers of thick leather by hand, you sometimes need pliers to pull the needle through. Regular standard pliers will do, but the prongs in the laws will damage the needles over time. The notches on the needles make them increasingly difficult to use. These pliers are the solution. Good grip without damaging the needles. Very happy with it.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • No Power
