Compared to over $600 for a new exhaust system, this thing is amazing! I had to drill and cut a hole for the security bolt but hey, easy job. Worth a good $120.

Very good fold out tip, I would suggest tack welding your exhaust pipe if you are in an area where it can be stolen as it is very easy to install/remove. Also, you'll probably have to trim the exhaust to fit since it only slides about 2 1/2 inches before it slides past the widened section.

I removed the 13 inch straight extension due to exhaust soot getting on the floor panel and underside of the rear bumper. Soot is very difficult to remove and seems to damage the finish. This DOWNTURN exhaust seems to keep all soot off the truck. Very easy to install. I can weld the JB onto the mounting bolt to deter theft.

I don't review often, maybe once a year as it takes time to go back and find purchase information and reviews and most items come close to meeting expectations. This MBRB exhaust tip is junk. It was expensive and rusted in less than a year. I live in Florida, there's no salt on our streets. The company has a good reputation but this is not the right product to buy.

I have a 2013 Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe. I replaced the stock exhaust on a Cobra 2 with an exhaust. The problem is that Cobra didn't have good exhaust tips for their product. Since the diameter of this tip was very close to the diameter of my exhaust, I decided I had nothing to lose. There was a slightly larger gap between the tip and the exhaust than I expected, but I was able to fill that gap with the head wire insulation. Both the look and the length are fantastic. I ordered it on June 28th '17 and installed it on July 7th '17. it was supposed to fade etc. It didn't and it looks just as good now as it did when I put it on. My only problem with this is that it's shorter than I'd like. This is my fault as I should have ordered a longer one. A longer one won't work any better than this one, but one of my Chevy Colorados, the longer one, will hide most of the exhaust pipe. But I do the work for myself to keep the diesel exhaust out of the fender.
